The Vocational Education Program on Universitas Indonesia invites academia, researchers, policy-makers, registered training organisations, industry, schools and university students, employer groups, education and training authorities, and business associations to the 3rd International Conference on Vocational Higher Education (ICVHE) 2018. This conference discussed the impact of digital era: disruption, automation, and data used that cover the theoretical and practical aspect of scientific and daily life. The scholars are encourage to submit papers on any topics, but is not limited to the topic enlisted.

Research Area:

Contemporary economy is dependent on information technology (IT) and most companies are obliged to turn to electronic market in order to achieve competitive advantage and advance business performance. IT creates more pressures on business and administration area to react faster and make better business decisions. This topics want to see how administrative and business could riding on the information technology dynamics to improve the quality of products and services, both efficiency and effectiveness of decision making and business processes.

The new digital technologies are described as a major contributor to a range of revolutionary science in many different sectors including health services. The rapid changes of these technologies will come to improve healthcare management to promote communication between healthcare providers and patients; encouraging people to engage in preventive activities; improving patient adherence to health treatment protocols; managing people’s own health; self-management of chronic diseases by delivering, collecting and sharing medical and health-related data, etc. This topics want to discuss the transformations of science and how they operate in medicine and healthcare.

The rise of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has changed information availability in legal and social disciplines. Information as a very critical resource, ranking just after air, water, food and shelter, is very important to make sound decisions and improves social well-being.
